the daac is a tiny little music venue that is right next to scavenger hut and underneath the hearts sign. this is one of those places that if you are not looking for it you will miss it. Theres a small stage big enough for about 8 people to be on. the rest of the space is long extra wide hallway. It is a really good place to see acustic or low-fi bands. but also just as good for indie bands. you won't find any big name bands or cookie cutter groups, instead you'll find local bands from grand rapids and michigan and sometimes national acts. The shows are usually $5 sometimes $7 or $10 but for $5 you usually get to see three to five bands. - rob , posted 03/27/06 |
